CLOS COUVERT.
Le Clos Couvert is an academic project inspired by Mies van der Rohe’s modernist principles. Designed as a compact concept store, it explores how light, proportion and materiality can create a calm, refined spatial experience often found in contemporary hospitality and luxury retail environments.
Concrete planes, controlled lines of sight and framed openings structure the space, guiding movement with simplicity and intention. The project studies how atmosphere emerges from minimal gestures — a quality essential to places of reception, contemplation and curated client experience.
Through plans, sections and detailed sketches, the work investigates spatial rhythm, circulation and the expressive potential of understated materials.
