ICI Concept Store
This project was developed as part of a real-case studio assignment for ICI Concept Store. The brief focused on rethinking the fragrance area, improving product visibility, circulation and atmosphere while respecting a limited budget. The work combined on-site measurements, hand sketches, physical model-making and a full 3D proposal.
The existing section suffered from outdated blue wooden shelves, weak lighting and a lack of narrative consistency. My concept introduced a warmer material palette, soft textiles, modular wooden displays and illuminated niches designed to enhance product storytelling. The new layout reorganizes sightlines and customer flow, creating a more intuitive and sensory-driven experience.
The process included:
— on-site survey and dimensioning
— sketches and concept ideation
— moodboards and visual identity research
— physical model construction to test proportions and shelf depth
— circulation & lighting analysis
— 3D modeling and perspective renders
— budget-aware material and furniture proposals
The final design transforms a dense and visually fragmented area into a welcoming micro-environment, combining intimacy, craft-inspired textures and refined merchandising — aligned with contemporary boutique hospitality and retail atmospheres.
